| Computer Morons - Living Viruses? |

[b]Why do morons think they wont get a virus when they download porn, don't scan there email or just in general accept files from other morons?
Okay reader(s) please note if your going to go porn or questionable sites (I really don't care if you do or don't) that at some point, some moron is going to want you to download there version of a viewer, toolbar, dialer or whatever. This is really bad. How bad...well, run into a wall really really fast. Did you do it? Hurts huh? That's how bad.
Here's a run down of what each program can & will do if you get infected.
Dialer - tells your modem (in a moron language, a magical device that speaks in tones to another magical being on the other side so it can tell them your magic box is ready to take you on that magical ride to porn land) to dial out to another company in another country at like $3.99 -- $9.99 a minute. You get stuck with the phone bill, they get a profit. Usually the government can't do a thing in this case & for the most part it's all legal & in another country. Nice you get screwed while looking at porn. Ironic huh?
Worms - Nice little piece of coding that replicates itself (in moron language, it magically makes more of it self & starts an army of destruction in your computer) once it gets in your system, it may attach itself to other files while deleting other files & it may start emailing other files out under your name, trying to infect other people.
Trojans - I particularly like this program. This program allows anyone hacker to get into your system & basically do what ever they want. Upload, download, delete, turn off your computer. You name it, the Trojan can do it. (Moron language -- the mean old wizard has a back door into your computer, because you left the keys in the magical castle.)
Spyware - This is software that runs in your background that allows corporations to spy on you. What these do is send out bits of information on you & what your surfing habits are. (moron language - they watch you when you go to www.beatingsheep.com).
Some install toolbars & hijack your home page, so they know you always going to go their site first. Nice huh.
Most of these viruses HAVE to be activated or opened by the user(s).
So far the clients I have dealt with & fixed there computers for them have had worms, Trojans, spyware & an outdated antivirus program(s).
Now I realize that Anti virus software (AVS) can be expensive & when your updates run out they hit you up for a new subscription rate. Sort of like a protection racket. Pay up or suffer. BUT what if I told you could get an AVS with updates for FREE? Yes, for FREE. Along with another program that eliminates spyware. The cost for the Spyware removal program. FREE.
Grisoft.com - AVG - anti virus program. I use it on my clients computers. It's free, the updates are free. If you find a better deal go for it.
Ad-aware - I don't have the link but do a search for it. Find it, download it. It will identify spyware & help eliminate it. It's all FREE.
Let's end the computer moron epidemic together or at least get them a shiny rock to look at.

| Week Good - Morons Bad |

[b]Okay so I haven't been blogging like I should have been lately. Sorry, just been busy with other things.
Well, for the most part, my week has gone like this. A sibling needed a car to take some kids to see the WWE. So I decided to loan out my 2nd car. Now this was the one where the battery was replaced. Bad thing though, it turned out that the rear lights aren't fully functional. So while I do have a car & it does run, just don't drive behind me, you'll never see the brake lights come on. The rear lights will be fixed in due time, this is my back up car. But I couldn't loan this car to haul 5 kids to see this event. So I called in a favor & got my sibling a van, to which I was going to chauffeur. I told him that he didn't have my car to use, but I did get him a vehicle. My sibling said not to worry, it seems that he had gotten the bosses truck from work. That would've been nice to know. But I understand, my sibling didn't hear from me in a certain amount of time so the boss gave him the keys to his truck. A bonus to my week is the police came around & threw out the fix it ticket, because he had noticed that my vehicle was turned around. I offered to start it, but he declined. I'm glad too, if he decided to check the lights. I would have been screwed & not in the good way too.
Now for the moron who posted about SHAWNA/HOOSIER GIRL/NAVYWIFE (who ever she wants to be). Get a life. First if the woman wants to the world to believe she's pregnant, what problem do you have (not saying she isn't, I don't have any real proof to deny that she is or isn't). Are you the moral police? If so shouldn't you be handing out citations for really bad porno sites. Don't hide behind the newbie crap. Come out in the open. Oh & that link, if you want to play the who's knocked up game, how do I know you didn't swipe that link from someone else. Really, next time you decide to have sex & want to get pregnant, swallow. I don't need morons breeding. It just thins out the chances of me getting really good tickets to see great concerts.
One post was enough as well, I would suggest you learn how to use a computer. Unless your on your back with your legs open, then I guess it's not your fault, your really not good a multi tasking.
Are you jealous because she has a life, or that you lack one? Don't answer it. I really don't want to know, because I don't care. Just read the background on my blog. Get the Picture? Good. Now move along.

| Parades Of Insanity |

[b]Well, let's see how this week has fared. I marched in a parade with my dysfunctional family. Oh yeah! That was fun. For me it was cold & my family was disorganized & almost late for their spot in the parade. Was I late? Well, I tried to be. I was told to be at a certain spot by 10 am, I showed up at 10:15. Now my family shows up at 10:45 - 15 minutes before the parade starts. Yes, I did try to contact family members by cellphone to see what the hold up was. Interesting note here, it's amazing in this day & age that we have all this technology yet when we don't use it or people seem to *lose* there cell phones they get irate that we didn't get a hold of them. Not that it's their fault.
Well, when we did get organized, I was still standing around waiting to filter into the parade route, I was asked if I was cold, I snapped like a twig replying No, in fact I'm very hot, why the hell am I wearing this jacket?. Why do people ask the most insipid questions when the answer is really obvious?
Well, after it was all said & done, it wasn't that bad, well it was over with that was the good part & yes, I will probably be in the parade next year as well. Why end this disorganization, its a family tradition.
Also this I got a notice that if my 2nd car isn't running, it's going to get it towed & impounded. This is the 2nd time I get this crap. The 1st cop let it go when I mentioned that it was insured & registered.
I mentioned to this the officer giving me the notice, he said it didn't matter. He asked me if I would start it. I told him Ironically the battery died last night, & if I asked my lawyer he would probably tell me to say that too Well he said he would stop back in 2 weeks too see if it runs. Well, it will, I had to buy a new battery for it. The old one just wouldn't hold a charge. So it cost me $50 to avoid an impound fees, legal fees, & court costs. Yes, I know a small price to pay but its the principal of the issue. This is on private property but if I had a garage to cover it, & not out in the open, there would be no problem. Just seems to be a lookism thing. I wonder if I had a Mercedes or a Jag out, would I get this crap.

[b]Well, I went into idiot central this week. Oh you want to know where this was? Well, it was in an AOHELL chatroom. It was amazing to see, so called computer literate people, trying to use their computers as dating machines.
First of all I kept seeing someone irritating the moronic mass in this room. I found this hilarious because the individual said rude things & the Moronic Mass threatened to TOS (Terms OF Service violations).
Now what I find so funny is that this was all school yard crap & this was an adult chatroom. The Moronic Mass was reduced in IQ (if that was possible) by actually chomping at the bit of the insults.
Second I finished a gif for a contact, ask for some feedback, I thought it was great, but the person who originally did wasn't so impressed. Not that I care, (let's call this person H, which incidentally H was in that Moronic Mass in the chatroom) It seems H was distraught that I had actually modified the picture she did & changed it into a GIF (an animated picture). Well, I proceeded to tell H that why you do web pages for paypal (these are web pages are on AOHELL), H should try blogging, get your talent really noticed. Not surprising H didn't know what blogging was. So I explained to H what Blog(s) were & offered to show a few to which H replied. No. & Oh, well you can't believe any of that stuff you read on blogs, people lie all the time.
That floored me, the very thought of this person passing judgment without looking at one blog, let alone know what the hell a blog was, this was beyond moronic. Now my reader(s), I know many of you write a fair amount to your blog(s). 99% of the blogs I've read have been straight forward to the point, either with poetry, daily life, political, graphics, & what have nots.
I've seen a lot of creativity, go into these blogs, mainly from the individuals themselves. Some have had help along the way, but the blog(s) design & what goes into the blog was done all by the individual.
I think this scares most of AOHellers & H that there are people thinking for themselves, going & doing more on the web. Now I did see some of H's graphics & they are good, however I did see on one of the pages H did that it was nothing but gleamed copyrighted material from other sites. I guess that's what an AoHeller calls original.
Well, next time you see an AOHeller commercial, replace you the line *You got mail* to *The idiots are gathering* & it all make perfect sense. At least to the people who blog & know what a blog is.

| Random Computer Thoughts |

[b]I've been such a computer geek this week.
I'm in the middle of a web design project. I finished a GIF for a contact. Read ,reviewed, commented & helped on many blogs this week. I set up a chatroom on Eblog. Helped a few people here & there to remove spyware & update there computers.
I've also helped someone switched out a background because they like a certain one running on my Experimental blog. Not only did the person like the first one I had, but when they wanted to switch their blog around, I suggested & showed another background & they liked that one too. So they decided to use it. Now my reader(s), whether the person decided to use it or not, they at least checked it out. Not like most of the semi quasi psuedo wanna be computer users out there on the web. I find most of if not all of the users on Tblog to smart, articulate, sarcastic, critics, political insighters & yes the even a few morons out there, but hey you need to balance every society out with someone that will make some of your own actions look like brillant ones.
To those who have wandered into the chat room & help give some feedback, helped the odd occassional user getting in & even showed me a thing or two. Thanks.
Now if we can get the rest of the people to take notice & use it, but getting people into it well thats another story.
What I've learned this week with setting up a chatroom, my computer skills & computer consultanting, is that people don't want free advice or anything better that would make thier life easier at a minimal cost to them, they would rather pay for it. In this time of economic hardship I just don't get it. People don't want an easier way sometimes, they would rather struggle through life. While this does give them a sense of accomplishment ( who doesn't like that orgasmic feeling), they never see the bigger picture until their in deeper problems & wonder just how the hell things went from bad to worse. It just boggles the mind all the way to the prozac container.
There are those who have seen the light & then there are those who are driving the vehicle behind the lights about to smack the idiot who is watching those lights for not moving & seeing the bigger picture.

[b]Now before I rant here, let me state that I have nothing against Tblog. In fact I rather like what they have to offer. Not many blog sites have this much diveristy in blogging styles for free.
With that stated though, let me say this. Why the hell don't they have a decent chatroom or chat program running. How many of us lag on the refresh rate? How many of us loose information or parts of text chats? How many of us run out of room to type the statement? How many of you don't liked to be censored & yes I do realize that their are some *young adults* on this blogging site.
Okay here is a question for all. Do you realize how much it would cost to set one up? What you don't? Of course my reader(s), do you know what word I'm going to use here? FREE!!!!
Yes, completely free. How do I know this? Well right now Im running a chat room on my experimental site called EBlog (the link is on the left).
It's totally free, its running 24/7. Any & all user(s) have to do is log in & use it. Tell your friends about it. Have them come in & chat with, it's in real time (translation - when you send a message, it gets displayed with out having to refresh).
Now if anyone has a tech question about how to do there blog, with out loosing any text, they can simply log on to Eblog & chat till the desire is gone. Also I've added Tblurt so you can see who comes in on the main page.
Right now this chat room is just experimental, so feel free to leave comments.
Oh & if you want to the source code, you can either log on to the chat room, get the link posted at the bottom. Or you can have me email you the link. So you can generate your own chat room with specific colors to your liking. Oh & it's completely free.

[b]I'm on several boards/forum groups on the web. Some are humorous, some are goth & some have great ideas about saving money & stretching your budget.
Those I like. Well someone put a comment about a certain store & turning other stores in for using their products for reselling.
Now this certain store (let's call them WM) has had a reputation of illegal labor practices, low wages & really pushing the ethics of labor laws to the limit. So someone posted a comment to which I posted my reply.
This is the last part of what the Poster wrote -
Who knows they might reward you for helping them to catch someone who would violate their (WM) Trademark, and distribution contracts.
To which I replied
Yes we should all hail WM, we should all buy WM & only let WM have exclusive rights to slave labor products. Why let some other store survive on Wms brands. Damnation to the small stores. ALL hail the corporate regime machine WM!! We will let no other store *borrow* our products that doesn't support America or it's sellout. That is our exclusive explotation right!! Yes, I dislike WM, because why they say they support America, if you look closely at their products 99% of them say MADE IN (insert foreign country). Now dont get me wrong, Im for free trade & economical diversity. But what they make & how they make their profit & where they get most of these items are from low slave labor wages & in countries where factorys rule with an iron fist over the local population.
Yes I know WM isn't the only company that does this but I just don't like them. Why? Way to much competetion on the World Domination Front for me. I don't want to share my power.
